What is slope?
Slope measures how steep a line is — the ratio of vertical change (rise) to horizontal change (run) between any two points on the line, written as m = (y₂ − y₁) / (x₂ − x₁).
Which input modes does this support?
Three: two points, a point plus a slope, or a line equation in slope-intercept or standard form.
Does it show the working?

Are fractional answers shown as fractions?
Yes. A slope of 2/3 is displayed as 2/3, not 0.667, keeping the answer exact.
What if the line is vertical?
Vertical lines have an undefined slope, which the calculator explains clearly — no division-by-zero error or blank output.
What if the line is horizontal?
A horizontal line has a slope of zero and no x-intercept (unless it passes through the origin), both clearly stated in the output.
What outputs does it give?
