About the Numerical Integration Calculator
Three classic numerical methods, compared side by side.
What it is
The Numerical Integration Calculator approximates definite integrals using the Trapezoidal Rule, Simpson's Rule, and the Midpoint Rule, from either a function over an interval or a table of sampled data points. When a function is provided, a high-precision reference value is computed so each method's error can be compared directly.
Features
Three methods compared
Trapezoidal, Simpson's, and Midpoint rules shown side by side.
Function or data table
Works from a symbolic function or pasted (x, y) sample points.
Error estimate
Compares each method against a high-resolution reference value.
Visual geometry
Graph draws the trapezoids, parabolic arcs, or rectangles used.
